Meet our Interns for the Spring 2024 Semester…

Isabelle Koch

“Isabelle Koch is in her second year of undergrad at the University of Evansville, studying Exercise Science. Next summer, after earning her bachelor's degree she will be starting Physical Therapy school to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She believes that physical therapy is an essential part of holistic healthcare and is excited to someday help her patients through purposeful plans of care. Isabelle is currently involved in UE’s Honors College, the University Choir, and the Exercise Science club. She also volunteers at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. In the future, she is hoping to work in a geriatric setting, focusing on helping her patients with their activities of daily living and helping them maintain as much independence as possible.”

I’ve also come up with a few ideas for the upcoming newsletters. I was thinking I could write about fighting against the sedentary lifestyle, simple healthy eating, avoiding nutritional quackery, maintain strength as you age, active lifestyles without a gym, or the best exercises for cardiovascular health. Let me know if any of those sound good to you and I can start working on that as well!

Mallory Russell

Mallory is a senior at the University of Evansville majoring in Health Service Administration. She is from Evansville, and attended Memorial High School. Mallory is on the women's golf team at UE as well! While Mallory doesn’t have exact plans for the future yet, she is planning to get her Masters next year in Health Service Administration before going into the working field! Ideally, the future will provide her with a position in medical sales or an administrative position in a hospital!
